Masala Chapathi


Ingredients:
                    Wheat Flour: 2cups
                    Water: enough to knead the dough
                    Turmeric:1/4 tsp
                    Ajwain:1/4 tsp
                    Jeera: 1/4 tsp
                    Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
                    Curry leaves: 1 sprig (finely chopped)
                    Coriander Leaves: 2 tbspn(finely chopped)
                    Kasuri Methi:2 tbspn(finely chopped)
                    Green chilli: 2-3 (finely chopped)
                    Asafoetida: pinch
                    Oil: 1 tsp
                    Salt to taste
                  
Method:
                1. Mix all the above ingredients and knead the dough well.
                      
                2. Cover and leave the dough for half an hour( this makes chapathis  soft)
                3.Divide the dough into small balls. Coat each one with the flour and roll them into a medium sized chapathi.


4. Heat the tava and place rolled chapathi. Apply oil on both the sides and fry until brown spots are seen.
                      
                5. Remove from the pan and fry the remaining chapathis in the same way.
                6. Serve hot with pickle or chutney.
